Day 15 marks the final day of full competition at the Milano-Cortina Games before the event concludes on Sunday. It is set to be a significant day for Canada, with key events such as curling medal games and opportunities for podium finishes in ski cross.

In the upcoming events, Canada’s freestyle skiing team will be competing in the aerials mixed team final at 4:45 a.m. ET. The team, which includes Marion Thénault, Miha Fontaine, and Lewis Irving, previously won bronze in this event in 2022. The top four teams from the initial run will advance to compete for the medals at 5:45 a.m. ET.

Following that, Reece Howden will represent Canada in the men’s ski cross final at 7:15 a.m. ET. Howden, a dominant force in the World Cup circuit, is aiming for a major title or medal to solidify his legacy. Canada also has medal hopefuls in Kevin Drury and Jared Schmidt.

In curling, the Canadian women’s team will face the United States for the bronze at 8:05 a.m. ET. Meanwhile, the men’s team will compete against Great Britain for the gold at 1:05 p.m. ET.

The day will also feature speed skating events, with Valérie Maltais and Ivanie Blondin competing in the women’s mass start final at 11:15 a.m. ET. Maltais, who recently won a bronze medal, will aim for another strong performance in this event.

Additionally, the women’s halfpipe final in freestyle skiing will take place at 1:30 p.m. ET, with Amy Fraser and Rachael Karker representing Canada. The competition is expected to be intense, with top athletes vying for the gold.

Other notable events on Day 15 include the men’s hockey bronze medal match between Finland and Slovakia at 2:40 p.m. ET and the men’s 50km mass start classic cross-country skiing race at 5 a.m. ET, featuring Norway’s Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo.
