The family mentioned that Jason had faced a campaign of misinformation that became overwhelming for him, as he was a kind-hearted individual who always sought the best in others. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the death of a 41-year-old man in Battersea, stating that the incident was unexpected but not suspicious.
Cambridge vice-chancellor Deborah Prentice, who had previously announced an investigation into Arday’s employment circumstances, expressed deep sadness over the news.
