“Pentagon Releases UFO Files: Glowing Orbs in U.S. Skies”

The Pentagon has disclosed a new set of previously classified documents regarding alleged sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs). These files, released on Friday, contain accounts of glowing orbs, sometimes red in color, observed by individuals in the northeastern region of the United States.

This marks the third release of such information, following the public unveiling of two previous batches on May 8 and May 22. President Donald Trump is the most recent in a line of presidents who have chosen to make federal government reports on UFOs available to the public, a practice that originated in the late 1970s.

The latest disclosure, termed “unidentified anomalous phenomena” (UAP) by the Pentagon, consists of 72 files sourced from the FBI, CIA, and Pentagon. These files include witness testimonies, videos, and artistic representations. Several entries highlight sightings of spherical or orb-like objects in the northeastern U.S. region.

One particular file from February features FBI interviews with two individuals who recounted an encounter with a bright light in their backyard one evening. The identities of these individuals and their exact location were redacted from the report.

According to the FBI report, one witness described a red sphere approximately one meter wide, containing a basketball-sized “white plasma sun” at its center. The report also mentions the observation of a second orb, which appeared connected to the first as they moved away. Subsequently, the witnesses reported seeing multiple white orbs flying over their house at a higher altitude a few weeks later.

Additionally, a similar interview conducted in July 2025 referenced past reports of orb sightings near a sparsely populated area familiar to the individuals. Another incident from October 2024 described a luminous object resembling a plasma-like sphere hovering above a pond, periodically changing shape and luminosity.

Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth emphasized the importance of releasing these previously classified files to the public, stating that they have long fueled speculation and should now be accessible to the American people for their own interpretation.
