The Conservative Party of Canada has announced a new fundraising milestone for 2025, collecting nearly $48 million from over 327,000 donations. Party leader Pierre Poilievre expressed gratitude for the widespread support, citing it as a sign of confidence in the Conservative vision for a better, more affordable Canada.
Elections Canada data reveals that the party raised $28.1 million in the first quarter, $9 million in the second quarter, and $4.2 million in the third quarter of the year. The Conservative Party is finalizing its fourth-quarter fundraising report, expecting to show an additional $6.4 million raised during that period.
Poilievre emphasized that these contributions are crucial for advancing the party’s agenda and readiness to challenge the governing Liberals in upcoming elections. In comparison, the Liberal Party disclosed surpassing its fundraising record with over $29 million raised in 2025, almost double its 2024 total.
The Liberals reported fundraising amounts of $13.2 million, $7.6 million, and $2.95 million in the first, second, and third quarters of 2025, respectively. Azam Ishmael, the Liberal Party’s national director, hailed the achievement as a historic moment for the party.
Meanwhile, the New Democratic Party (NDP) received $4.6 million in donations during the initial nine months of 2025. Final fundraising figures for the last quarter of the year are awaited from Elections Canada.
