Share

Health Canada has issued a recall for a range of Zwilling electric kettles, citing potential burn hazards. The affected products are the Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro models with a 1.5 L capacity. Approximately 43,963 units of these kettles were sold in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.

The safety concern revolves around the handle of the kettle, which may become loose or detach while in use. This defect could lead to hot water spilling out, posing a scalding risk to users and those nearby, including young children. Health Canada’s records indicate that there have been 21 incident reports and one potential injury related to these kettles in Canada as of May 13, 2026.

Consumers are advised to discontinue using the affected kettles immediately and seek a refund by registering on the dedicated recall website. For additional details, individuals can reach out to Zwilling directly. Health Canada also urges anyone encountering safety issues with the product to report such incidents promptly.
