Share

Teva Canada is recalling a batch of 500-milligram Nov-Gesic Forte acetaminophen, an over-the-counter pain reliever, due to concerns about possible inclusion of “foreign material” that may pose risks to the digestive system. The recall follows guidelines issued by Health Canada in a recent news release.

The affected pills, from Lot No. 100083040 expiring on Jan. 31, 2029, were distributed in 1,000-count bottles to pharmacies and subsequently dispensed in smaller quantities to patients. Health Canada advises individuals in possession of this lot to discontinue its use immediately and return it to their local pharmacy for safe disposal and replacement. Those uncertain about the status of their product are encouraged to verify with their pharmacy.

Individuals who have used the recalled product and are worried about their well-being are urged to consult their healthcare provider. Additionally, any adverse effects or concerns related to the product should be reported to Health Canada. For further assistance, customers can reach out to Teva Canada Customer Care through phone at 1-800-268-4129 or via email at customer.service@tevacanada.com.
