The Toronto Raptors have officially extended the contract of their general manager, Bobby Webster, to a multi-year deal and elevated him to the position of executive vice president, the NBA franchise announced on Monday. Additionally, key front office personnel Dan Tolzman, Keith Boyarsky, and Tyla Flexman have also had their contracts extended by the team.
Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment CEO Keith Pelley praised Webster for his exceptional knowledge of the game and the NBA, acknowledging his role in constructing a competitive team. Pelley expressed confidence in Webster’s leadership abilities, citing the team’s performance and unity during the past year.
At 41 years old, Webster is embarking on his 10th season as the Raptors’ general manager. The specific details of the contract extension have not been disclosed by the team. Webster took over full control of the Raptors’ basketball operations in August 2025 following the departure of former president Masai Ujiri.
Since joining the Raptors in 2013, Webster has contributed to the team’s success, leading them to nine playoff appearances and securing the NBA championship in 2019. Under Webster’s guidance, the Raptors have achieved a regular-season record of 591-455, boasting five seasons with 50 or more wins. In the 2025-26 season, the Raptors finished with a 46-36 record and pushed the Cleveland Cavaliers to a seven-game playoff series in the first round.
