Manitoba to Stay on Daylight Time Permanently

Manitobans will no longer have to adjust their clocks for daylight saving time changes as Premier Wab Kinew announced that the province will now permanently observe daylight time. This decision means that clocks will no longer switch back to standard time on November 1. Manitoba is now part of a growing number of provinces and territories, including British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, that have either implemented or are in the process of adopting permanent daylight time.
