Filmed earlier this year on Vancouver Island, Yaga follows a private investigator summoned to a small coastal community to search for a missing heir to a wealthy fishing family, uncovering a web of dark secrets. The show features a stellar Canadian cast, including Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek), Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix), Clark Backo (Letterkenny), Sheila McCarthy, and the iconic original Anne of Green Gables star, Megan Follows.
At the world premiere of Yaga at TIFF, CBC News caught up with the cast on the red carpet. Although Williams remained silent with the media, his co-star, Moss, expressed her confidence in his performance, stating, “He doesn’t need it. He’s doing great.”
