Fourth-ranked Felix Auger-Aliassime will lead the Canadian team in the upcoming second round of Davis Cup qualifiers to be held in Quebec City. Tennis Canada announced that he will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ont., and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ont.
Canada, currently ranked 12th in the tournament, is set to face off against sixth-ranked France in a best-of-five tie at Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers in February, Canada narrowly defeated Brazil with a 3-2 scoreline. Meanwhile, France secured their spot by triumphing over Slovakia with a 3-1 victory.
